Prof. Dr. Ubaid Shah is an Australian Board-Certified Pediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist with more than 18 years of specialist experience caring for children and adolescents with epilepsy and complex neurological disorders.

He specialises in childhood epilepsy, drug-resistant seizures, developmental disorders, autism and ADHD, developmental regression, movement disorders, autoimmune encephalitis, PANS/PANDAS, neuromuscular conditions and pediatric headaches and migraine.

Previously, Dr. Shah held senior leadership positions at American Hospital Dubai, including Director of the American Centre for Epilepsy, Director of the American Children’s Centre and Director of Pediatrics, where he helped develop advanced pediatric neurology and epilepsy services.

Today, he combines international specialist expertise with a deeply family-centred approach—taking time to understand each child, explain the diagnosis clearly and create an individualised treatment plan that gives parents clarity, confidence and hope.
